To update the HERE Maps service on your Navdy Display, you will need a micro USB cable and a computer (Mac or Windows).
Once you have the above items, please perform the following steps to download our desktop app and install the appropriate maps for your region.
Step 1: Download and Install Our Desktop App
Mac:
Download, open, and install our desktop app from here
Move the Navdy desktop app to your Applications folder
Windows/PC:
If you have a 64-bit computer:
Download, open, and install the desktop app from here
Save the Navdy desktop app to the desired location on your computer
If you have a 32-bit computer:
Download, open, and install the desktop app from here
Save the Navdy desktop app to the desired location on your computer
Step 2: Launch the Desktop App & Install Regional Maps
Ensure the Navdy desktop app is installed and open it on your computer
Connect your Navdy to your computer via a Micro USB cable
Select the country, within the drop-down option, where you’ll drive the most with Navdy
Select Update Map (if available). This will begin the download and transfer of that region’s maps to your Navdy
This transfer may take a couple hours depending upon your internets bandwidth. I suggest you perform this update while connected to a strong internet connection and overnight.

昨天拿到後,
電腦裝了軟體更新地圖, (好久)
開車上路用手機更新主機, (幾分鐘)
順便又更新了轉盤, (幾分鐘)
但轉盤更新了就不能用了...
直到我拔電池又裝回去,
就可以重新連接上了,
目前還在熟悉中,
有幾個簡單的小問題,
1. 導航, 會說話 說外星話 (就音譯成國語發音)
大家都怎麼設定? 讓她說英文?
2. 語音控制, 只知道選單點選, 暗住轉盤紐 可以呼叫,
還有別的方法嗎 ? (例如 Android Auto 隨時等你呼叫 "OK Google", CarPlay 等你說 "Hi Siri")
3. 手勢控制, 其實還算好用, 揮左揮右可以選 Yes or No 之類的, 但跟我腦中的方向不同, 可以對調嗎 ?
4. Dash, 沒看到油量? 沒有氣溫? 只有速度方面 跟 時間方面

新手機拿到了,
自己更新一下,
Dial按住的Google Now語音
只能對應在手機上顯示而已,
沒辦法直接回傳到Navdy主機,
進入選單後的
Place,
雖然只能找"地點"
但語音"支援中文"
當然查出來可能是半中半英這種詭異的結果,
但其實就是用Google搜尋找出來的地點,
以上就是語音辨識的部分,
其實算正常能用,
顯示上比起 Android Auto 就是少了比較正常一點的中文,
但可以用滾輪選要去的地點,
還有地圖會快速顯示路徑,
都算是挺OK的

接著是訊息,
有支援的話,
用手勢or滾輪操作來瀏覽,
支援中文,
字大又清晰,
是正常能用的水準,
但不支援台灣人最常用的Line,
回訊息還沒玩過, (畢竟收到的是客服簡訊)
看起來好像不支援 語音朗讀? (因為語音設定成英文了?)

題外話,
打開手機Navdy,
從地圖上看會標示你的停車位置,
Google也有類似的功能, (偷偷記錄你停車位置)
