shop the notebook, pay attention on the type of warranty services
the vendor offers. Normally, you can find "At-Home service" and
"Mail-In service".
At-Home service means you don’t need to leave
your home, a technician will troubleshoot you over the phone or
online. If there is part broken, the replacement will ship to you, and
a third-party technician will come to your place and install for you.
"Mail-In service" offers almost the same service. But, when there is
part broken, their carrier will provide you with shipping materials, and
pay the shipping to and from the service center.
I suggest you buy the notebook when you get here, but
bring all the necessary software with you. (for notebook, buy at least
3-years warranty) I have used a lot of DELL notebook at work.
They are really solid. Personally, I have a IBM Thinkpad
T41 for 4 months, and I have to say ... Thinkpad rules!

帶dvd/cdrw....
