USB3.0 = 10X speed of USB2.0 roughly if I am right.
Good imporvement.
mainly, speed. for USB memory flash or external HDD for data transfer.
There are some rare product in market now:
Express card with ONE USB3.0 HUB or TWO USB3.0 HUB with a/c through 2 USB2.0 I guess--same as before PCMCIA to 4 USB2.0 HUB.
I am using a PIII 1.13 fujitsu old Lifebook, I am using a PCMCIA to 2 USB2.0 HUB:
1 for PCI tiny draft N 150M PCI USB 2.0 wifi wireless online
1 for eboostr USB 2.0 needed to a Corsair GT16GB USB Flash 4GB for the eboostr and 12GB for spare memory.
about 1 min or less enter to Windows XP , I did some changes of the regedit !
I have changes a new $am$ung 160Gb HDD 5400 IDE, lucky Fujitsu bios can support it !
So, the only things I need to change a new NB which are 1.13G PIII CPU not enough for me to use today and MAX. 768Mb RAM !!
Because I am too stupid that I always open many different websites to browse and do few different works at same time : watching Japan AV and browsing websites.
+USB3.0 for an external HDD to B.T. , Speed should be accepted !!

當初鐵齒且不知道ExpressCard介面除了USB 2.0也提供PCI-E 1x連結的樓主，在一年多後的今天，可以看看這個台灣廠商的設計功力嘍！姑且不論ExpressCard介面的USB3介面卡，早已經所在多有了，而電壓電流一定不夠嗎？升壓一定得要多個突出物嗎？

如果一年前聽樓主話的網友等到了今天，應該就是買內建USB3筆電的好時機了......不過，可選擇的具備USB3的筆電機種......少之又少，而且同樣也是靠外加晶片，走PCI-E 1x.....
