一般而言,日光燈管的接頭為2端4接點(4 pin),如果電子安定器配線是屬於一枝燈管出2條電線的話,一定是瞬時啟動,但是2枝燈管出8條接線,也可能是瞬時啟動電子安定器。其區分準則為點亮時間,如果點亮小於0.4秒的話,即屬於瞬時啟動。如果點亮時間超過0.4秒的話,加上接線是一枝燈管出4線的話,則可能為快速啟動或者預熱啟動,其判斷準則必須看點燈預熱的狀態。
如何從點燈狀態區分預熱啟動、快速啟動、及瞬時啟動型電子安定器?瞬時啟動的特色即為瞬時點亮,快速啟動於點燈時燈管會出現燈管兩端毛管的現象後再點亮;而預熱啟動則會看到兩端燈頭出現紅色或微白現象再點亮。

因為先裝過東亞T5山型,又裝飛利浦的ADRENO
就明顯感覺出點亮時間的不同
東亞T5山型...兩端先亮大概1秒多然後整枝再亮起來
ADRENO...直接整枝就亮起來....
所以才會猜測ADRENO不是預熱型

裡面的工程師說Adreno是"隨點即亮"電子式安定器不是"預熱式"安定器.

Instant start
An instant start ballast starts lamps without heating the cathodes at all by using high voltage (around 600 V). It is the most energy efficient type, but gives the least number of starts from a lamp as emissive oxides are blasted from the cold cathode surfaces each time the lamp is started. This is the best type for installations where lamps are not turned on and off very often.

真正預熱式是 Programmed start
A programmed-start ballast is a more advanced version of rapid start. This ballast applies power to the filaments first, then after a short delay to allow the cathodes to preheat, applies voltage to the lamps to strike an arc. This ballast gives the best life and most switch cycles from lamps, and so is preferred for applications with very frequent power cycling such as vision examination rooms and restrooms with a motion detector switch.
