like i said before, the manufacture doesn't really matter for current 5850
all of them are reference cards(公版卡), the PCB layouts are identical

u can just purchase the cheapest one and flash it with MSI OC BIOS later

all the cards u listed will give u the same result~~~

Actually, I don't find that 5850 a OC-friendly video card...
I'm a dual-monitor user, and the 5850 is really a pain in the axx when it comes to OCing.
You'll find that the secondary sceen flicking everytime you reflash the sceen.
Also, I don't know if it just me or the majority 5850 users have experienced this following issue: The monitors(main and secondary) will blackout when I attempt to enter safe mode under windows 7. This issue only happen after I swap GTX260 to 5850. (I have tried number of times and still end up with same result).
The only solution to this issue is to re-install the entire OS, which is painful...
However, I feel relief for not having to worry about this issue now because I've just got my 5850 sold.

I used MSI GTX 260 twinfrozr for a while after I sold my 5850.
The MSI twinforzr is a great card in terms of cost and performance.(only half the price of 5850)
I have compared 5850 and GTX260 myself and I was quite surprised that GTX260 in some aspect can even outperform 5850 (GTA4).
For instance, RE05 under DX10 8AA mode, the average FPS of GTX260 is only 8 FPS less than 5850 (72:80), and I've scored X8533 in 3Dmark vantage in comparison to 5850's X10XXX.
Not very much of difference between these two. Not to mention GTX260 twinfrozr is more OC friendly...
However, I sold both of them in good price just becuz I felt like waiting for GTX470/480 which are releasing the following month

I'm not quite agree with the results you stated:

For GTX260, FPS really depends on how much AA, motion blur, or resolutions you have; the higher quality, the lower FPS

As in contrast with the 5850, the FPS doesn't really drop that much
In the Resident Evil 5 benchmark, when I compare results between all special effects on or off on my 5850, the FPS only drops from about 90 to 80
It doesn't only apply to RE5, lots of popular games you see today are all like this
Especially when I played Crysis with all effects on, it still remains about 30FPS.
I don't think GTX260 can really have that performance.........

You can check some more statistics on Tom's Hardware

I believe many people has already mentioned in the thread you posted earlier:
The competitor of 5850 is GTX285, not GTX260

In Crysis benchmark with all setting at VH + 8AA 1680*1050, GTX260 (oc to 680/1500/1200) still manage to get an average FPS of 21. As of RE05, the result that I mention earlier is everything under highest setting indeed.
I'm not on anybody's side since I've already sold them all.
It's just my personal review of running these two card.
I have to admit that 5850 is a great card too, but it's just too many minor issues if you want to OC this card. (I'm not a guy who can satisify with stock setting)

But.............anyway..............................yeah
I'm not satisfy with 5850 OC either...........it's a pain in the ass orz

Hopefully there's a better BIOS that I can use in the future

Well, becuz i don't have 1920*1080↑ monitor, therefore my results that I mention earlier (5850 & 260) are all under 1680*1050 configuration...
Anyways, let's just wait and see what happen after Fermi's "legendary release".
