However, there's a link in an english web said differently, it said P50 won't be available until 2nd half of 2005.
http://brighthand.com/article/No_BenQ_P50_Until_2005
If this is true, it will be too bad because :
1. we have to wait long.
2. the potential P50 user will shift back to Treo becos its upgraded model #650 is kind of ready to available anytime this year. They are as powerful as P50...
Original P50 is credited in the market being "Treo Killer" because it is more powerful than Treo#600, however if P50 (a Treo Killer) finally being killed by Treo, only because P50's late arrival in the market, that would be too bad!!!
Anyone who keep a contact with P50 project manager at Benq, can let him know....

Hi TY,
In "編寫訊息可以透過設定的e-mail帳號或簡訊傳送" image, there's a number that "0/160", what is that mean ?
Does that mean every message in P50 with maximum word count 160 ?
thanks,
It should be a message content limitation for one page sms.
This limitation is defined in ETSI Spec.
If the sms is use 7 bit coding, the maximum english digits is 160 (exclude sms Header)
When we send out sms, we can input exceed 160 english digits (for example: 200 digits), but it will be divided into two sms when sending out this sms.
And when remote party receive this sms, it will auto become one message with 200 digits.
This is called "Concatenated" message and there will be no difference between the original sms and received sms.
The only one thing diffenent is that you will be charge for 2 sms price because you send out the sms exceed 160 digits and it will be divided into 2 sms for sending.
