Can I use my Dell laptop computer inflight?
Answer
Dell has recently issued a battery recall. For details on the affected batteries visit the Dell website.
Dell laptop computers affected by the recall may still be carried in both your checked and carry-on baggage.
Dell Laptop computers affected by the recall, that have not had the battery replaced, can only be used inflight by:
1. Battery power only, or
2. Aircraft mains power - but only with the battery removed from the computer. (Removal of the battery should occur before connecting to aircraft power.)
只用電池, 或是只插電源而沒有裝電池, 都還是可以在飛機上用的,
主要應該只是怕那電池爆炸的場面在飛機上發生.
韓航是沒有寫得這麼清楚
Using Dell laptops in the cabin limited
(August 30, 2006) As a precautionary measure to ensure safe air travel, Korean Air kindly requests all passengers carrying any kind of Dell laptops (including those unaffected by recall), Apple’s iBook and Powerbook models first remove batteries from the unit before bringing them to the cabin. Until further advisory is issued, these laptops cannot be carried into the cabin if batteries are not removed.

不知道為什麼，有個服務人員叫我去某種機器裡面站著，他會噴出氣體，這不是重點
我一出來就去找我的手提行李準備送進去X光機，發現我裝laptop的包包不見了，原來已經被他們“自動打開“，把我的laptop“丟“進籃子（會彈起來的那種丟），當場發飆，問弄壞了請問你們要怎麼賠？
不過我覺得檢查的狀況因人而異，不只是機場或地點，我最近在舊金山起飛過兩次，一次他們有把他拿出來檢查，塗上某種東西去檢查，今天這一次丟進籃子之後就進X光機檢查，沒在幹嘛了
液體檢查其實也是因人而異，坐在我對面的台灣人就一直在大聲討論他們怎麼躲過海關的檢查，真的是...
投機也不要在這時候吧？這裡是外國，別丟臉了...
之前坐飛機去San Diego時，因為check-in時出狀況，沒把行李check-in，帶了一瓶滿大瓶的香水忘記拿出來，也沒被搜出來（行李有被特別翻出來檢查，把我的沐浴乳之類的東西丟了）
因人而異這件事情不只有在檢查行李，在通過金屬檢查門的時候，有時候需要把你的護照登機證拿在手上，有時不需要～
總之，照子放亮點，免得被找麻煩...
