很吐血的airport express問題二部曲，現在連印表機連不上了

使用"沒有尾巴的小白豆腐(Airport express)"也好久了，一直用著沒問題也很省心。也忘記是半年前的哪一次升級，還是哪個刮風下雨打雷撞到鬼的夜晚，突然就不再能成功撥接ADSL上網了(狀態一直顯示"尋找PPPOE連線")。當時想想也用了好長時間了，本來想說是不是就準備升級或是淘汰了，於是家裡也換成D-Link的無線AP，無尾小白豆腐也就堂而皇之進入收藏館裡擱著。

這次回台灣也不記得是啥理由了，隨身帶上無尾小白豆腐之餘，在家趁著新裝中華電信光纖，插上去試試沒想到竟然就能夠撥接上了??!!回到大陸興沖沖的重新安裝(中國電信ADSL浮動IP)，卻沒想到還是不行.....這下真是無語了。

想請教，是不是哪部份的設定出問題了？我的無尾小白豆腐還有救嘛？感激感激！

China Telecom uses PPPoE dial up, but with a twist: they encrypted your user name and password! So what you see is not your real user name and password. For example, your user name maybe "roger", but the real user name maybe "^85*%HFU*68roger". Of cause AirPort won't be able to figure it out.

Why they do this? So that nothing but their own NetKeeper can dial up. Then they can use NetKeeper to push ads to you, steal your personal information, maybe something even worse. Basically it's a malware.

What can you do? The best solution is: call China Telecom, tell them you use Mac and can't run NetKeeper (since it has no OS X version), ask them to cancel the encryption. Then you should be fine. At least it worked for me.

In the good old times, China Telecom did use plain PPPoe. Until they figure out a new way to rip off the customers.

跟Apple服務專線研究一小時後的結果:

把airport express的韌體從6.3降到6.1.1，結果可以成功上網。

現在出現另一問題，把epson 1390連在airport express上，可以抓的到，但是印不出來(印表機總是顯示待機準備)，解決中......

這個問題也困擾我很久了，當我將系統從10.4升至10.5之後（所有硬體完全沒動到），就再也印不出東西來了...

參考這裡的討論，似乎是要將印表機的名字有空格，那把它拿掉，然後手動設定一下。這樣就可以印。但是，我照做了還是無法列印，也許因為原始出處是英語的，說不定是搞錯了做法，您可以去試試看。如果成功了，再請您不吝告知做法，感謝！！
