The initial 2Qute listening tests revealed the mains powered 2Qute sounded very similar to a battery powered Hugo.
I spent much of the afternoon doing my standard listening tests, and could not consistently find a preference - I was struggling to reliably hear a difference. When you are struggling to hear a difference, its usually because that there is no difference! There was no consistent difference in sound-stage, instrument separation and tonal balance. So as a sanity check, I thought I would test it against the original Qute - and immediately I could easily hear the difference - sound-stage was much deeper, instrument separation was better, and it was much smoother with the battery. All SQ hallmarks of reduced RF noise.
So don't bother connecting up "better" PSU's with 2Qute, as at best it will sound the same, at worst you will damage 2Qute - some of these units have too high an OP voltage, destroying the protection circuits of the DAC.
多麼絕頂聰明的策略，先引進三倍價格的東西。便宜的 2Qute 就最好慢慢來，雖然 Rob Watts 說過兩者的音質很接近。
兩千英鎊的差價怎麼花？Cavalli Audio Liquid Carbon 只賣 599 鎂加運費，那耳擴有平衡輸出呀。餘下的一千多英鎊也很好花，真的不愁沒有好選擇。
當然那二千英鎊就是買 Hugo TT 的方便，三千英鎊的投資也可以放進背包裡，大前提是要注意出沒地點的治安，武林高手則問題不大。

clearer than hugo by about 7 %, more separation between instruments , black background which allow you to hear more detail, richer sound than hugo but far behind Chord QBD76 HDSD.

蠻有趣的是
後來有用家表示他在筆電上(使用電池 跟 直接差沖電器)會聽到不同的音質
後來Rob表示那很有可能是住家環境的RF noise影響到擴大機的部分
HeadFi
後來也有看到有用家說到使用不同的電源供應器真的會改變聲音
我可能等ifi 出了DC變壓器來試看看
