【Samsung】E710上市囉~

比較看看E700和E710有什麼不同...

I've played for about 1hour with an E710 at a samsung stand on an important telecomunication event here in Madrid, called SIMO.
E710 the european version of E715 (both are exactly the same phone but E710 is (GSM 900/1800)) will reach spanish shops 15th of november (I've already ordered mine).
They had an E700 and a E710 together so you can compare it's features.
Here we go:

E700 is 85gr
E710 is 95gr

External Screen of E710 IS OLED GREYSCALE, no color at all!, you can still use it as a viewfinder for taking pics of yourself, but E700 external screen looks much better.

E710 HAS PhotoCaller-ID

E700 has GPRS Class 10
E710 has GPRS Class 8

E700 has WAP 2.0
E710 has WAP 1.2

E710 has VIDEO! M-JPG (motion-jpg, NOT MPEG) format, the video has very low frame rate looks like just merging the 15 frames of the multishoot together.

E710 has a very cool menu style, different from E700

E710 has two leds, one with colors for melodies etc, and the other one for taking pics. The flash led is very powerful and it really helps and gives quality in dark ambients, in combination with night-mode is wonderful (i was really impresed by flash, I first thought it was stupid using a led as flash)

E700 has java MIDP 1.2
E710 has java MIDP 2.0

E700 batery is 800mAh
E710 batery is 900mAh

Well my conclusion after playing around with both phones:
It's a difficult decision to choose between both models, E700 is lighter, external screen looks great and also has more interesting wap features (gprs 10, and wap 2.0) on the other hand, E710 has much better Java support (MIDP 2.0) applications runs faster and it support much better games etc, the video is cool but not impressive, and the flash led works very well, I still don't understand why samsung has put only wap1.2 and gprs 8 on this model...
So it's a difficult decision.
