My X500 back speaker also got very very small sound when I unplug the headphone jack.
I tried many methods, such as hard reset, plug/unplug the jack, use different audio players and also change ROM. Unfortunately, I got no inprovement. The sound volume still very very small (nearly can't hear).
I think the back speaker amplifier is damaged while I unplug the headphone jack!!!
My wife gave it to me as my birthday gift, just one month!!! I really don't want somebody to open it. If they can give me component(s), I can do it!!!

Previously, I changed the HK ROM to TW 351 and then install all software that I needed. I tried to retore all software (installed under TW 351) to the HK 434, but I found the Alarm does not show up "alert message". I can only hear Alarm sound and no any dispaly, so that I cannot stop the Alarm. I use the Alarm function to wake me up every morning.
Is there any professional know how to make the Alarm alert message to show up. I really don't want to install all program again. :( I also don't want to use old OS.
Any brother got HK 434 or TW 434 upgrade program. I want to keep a copy, but I can't find in HK and TW web site. Thanks.
