以上為昇級 ROM 中所附對昇級要注意事項的原文!其中紅色文字的意思是請把 ROM 的執行檔存放於 C: 的預定位置 (C:\iPAQ\SP34075). 不然也可能會出錯,白底 HP LOGO 畫面出現時再給它戳一次屁屁看是否可以再連上 PC 繼續昇級,如果依然不成而你人在台北,我們可以相約研究看看.
若要執行清除重設，將 HP iPAQ 回復成原廠設定，請：
1. 按住「接聽 / 傳送」、「電源」及「結束通話」按鈕。
2. 按住這些按鈕時，請使用手寫筆輕按 HP iPAQ 底部的「重設」按鈕，
直到裝置重新開機時再鬆開。
3. 當 HP iPAQ 重新開機時，請鬆開所有按鈕，並將手寫筆從「重設」按
鈕上移開。
HP iPAQ 會隨即重新開機。
, 我[長篇大論]的寫這篇文字, 用意是希望減少網友在昇級時的痛苦; 之前我在昇級 XDA /XDAII /XDAIIs...等機子時, 受的苦可不少, 最長的紀錄是一個多月沒機可用, 因為我不自量力的去學人改 ROM ! 後來花了很多時間才搞定...在那些日字自行換 ROM 是被看為很嚴重的問題, 還可能會拒修! 但經過小心的研究後, 現在以 XDAIIs 這機種來說, 換 ROM 已經當作遊戲來玩般輕鬆了.
