之所以買過 AspireOne 的人會幹聲連連..
原因就在於..
明明 EeePC 701...早就推出大半年以上..
所有輕省筆電的內容..優點..缺點..老早就攤在陽光下了
偏偏給Acer 這麼長的時間作戰略部署
竟然還做出一台超龜速..(相對EeePC 701)
不堪比較能夠正常使用的 8GB-MLC 出來給AspireOne
人家EeePC 701 一開使也是LINUX 啊..
而且才4GB..跑得嚇嚇叫..卻是有提供完整XP驅動光碟
你買了EeePC..想用LINUX..想玩XP..隨你意
可大半年之後你 AspireOne 同樣出了一台LINUX 輕省筆電
卻不能好好的跑XP...更不提供XP驅動 (故意技術阻礙)
買 AspireOne使用的人..痛苦指數遠大於使用EeePC 701..
AspireOne 賣得還比EeePC 701 貴得很多(目前價格)
那這算啥麼??
還一堆人不知哪跑出來鬼話..啥麼原廠做LINUX..大家不乖乖用LINUX
還違規玩XP..跑不順暢是應該的...是罪有應得

連早它大半年推出的EeePC 701..用顆爛爛的CPU都能打死 AspireOne
那給了 AspireOne 大半年的時間..確實證明了它的無能
ASUS EeePC 701 已經為輕省筆電立下了一個最低標準
後繼者如果連這樣的低標都達不到..只能說是無能

As you said, Asus EEEPC 701 comes with XP driver when first released their Linux version. It is because Asus know their SLC SSD can run XP smoothly without any problem. And. this is also another selling point for Asus EEEPC 701.
And, you can see the case of Acer Aspire One Linux version. Although it comes with 8GB SSD, why they don't bundle the XP driver becasue they know the poor performance of SLC. So, Acer acts unlike Asus to promote their Aspire One Linux version can run XP smoothly (although it can still install XP but we can see why there are so many complains about it). That is showed by Acer has NOT included the XP driver CD with Linux version.
In addition, Acer is well prepare to release their traditional 2.5" HDD version with XP Aspire One on July 25 (right?).
So, the question is Aspire One Linux version can still run XP (with poor performance) but it is NOT official recommended. And the user modified it then bad mouth it. I don't think it is NOT fair to Acer. Just like you buy a CPU and MB but they cannot overclock. Then, you complains the CPU and MB. I think the user should have their own responsibility to consider the 3C product is fit for their needs before they decide to purchase it.
