What is the data reordering issue?
The data reordering issue causes intermittent WiFi connection loss and application hangs on Windows 8* platforms.

Resolving the issue
Check the current version available for your adapter and Operating System.
Find the link to the current Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software version.
Scope: Under each operating system there is a list of adapters supported by this software fix.

Windows 8:
• The following Intel wireless adapters with version 16.0.x software:
o Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
o Intel® Dual Band Wireless-N 7260
o Intel® Wireless-N 7260
o Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160
• The following wireless adapters with 15.x software:
o Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230
o Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6235
o Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205
o Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205 for Desktop
o Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300
o Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250
o Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2200
o Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2200 For Desktop
o Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150
• The following wireless adapters may be affected by this issue. These are not supported by the current software update. A future update will include the data reordering fix for these adapters.
