Toshiba M500 Vista 程式 XP 相容報告 (04/02)

Intel Core 2 Duo T5600
RAM 1.5GB (TMTc DDR2667 1GB + Samsung DDR2-533 512MB)
BIOS Version 3.30

以下皆採取升級（Upgrade）方式安裝

安裝過程中一切順利
安裝完成後，會請你重開電腦
重開後，惡夢就來了...
開始覺得畫面鈍鈍的，螢幕解析度只能調到 1280x800，不能夠調到 1600x1200
到裝置管理員去看，顯示卡那邊出現兩個驚嘆號
後來再怎麼試還是不行
於是裝回舊版 for XP 6.14.10.4631 就正常了！

Toshiba HDD Protection 2.0.2
升級過程中會出現下面畫面

不論 Asia or Canada 都是一樣
所以沒轍囉...

Toshiba Assist 2.0.0 and 2.00.01
裝完發現居然是簡體中文的？
功能上不影響就是了

不論是 Asia Toshiba 上的 2.0.0 或 Canada Toshiba 的 2.00.01 畫面都一樣，都是簡體中文
而且裡面功能少的可憐...
PROTECT & FIX 裡面只有 PC 診斷工具
OPTIMIZE 裡面只有 SD Memory Card Format Utility、滑鼠、設定 CD/DVD 為 Quiet or Normal Mode，共三個選項
不知道這是不是沒裝 Toshiba ConfigFree 的關係？

注意事項：

剛新完上列項目後
發現 Fn+F8 切換無線網路跟藍芽不能用
這可能要再研究一下
已解！不要安裝 Bluetooth Monitor，安裝 Bluetooth Stack 即可。（感謝 deryuan ^^）

Bluetooth Monitor 安裝過程中一切順利
後來重開也都很正常
實際上能不能用我不清楚（我藍芽耳機壞了 ._.）
Bluetooth Monitor 裡面有兩個檔案
一個是安裝檔 M500_Vista_Bluetooth_Monitor.exe，另外一個是說明檔 ReadMe1st.txt

Bluetooth Stack Installation Guide

This document instructs users to replace the Bluetooth Stack.

Note: "Bluetooth Stack" is a name commonly used to describe the driver
and apps used to control Bluetooth devices.

標題明明是 Bluetooth Stack 安裝導覽
但這檔案卻是 Bluetooth Monitor ?
說明這份文件是用來取代 Bluetooth Stack 的
注意：Bluetooth Stack 通常是用來描述用來控制藍芽裝置的驅動程式跟應用軟體

Before replacing the Bluetooth Stack, please make sure that either "Bluetooth
Stack for Windows by Toshiba" or "Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack" is
not running on your machine.

在還沒執行之前，要先移除 Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba 或 Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack。

Notes:
To use Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack, Bluetooth Monitor 3 is required
to turn on/off the power on the Bluetooth module. This application is not
required if "Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba" is used.

注意：在使用 Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack 之前，Bluetooch Monitor 3 需要先切換開啟或關閉狀態。假如 Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba 正在使用的話，是不需要這軟體的。

[Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba -> Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack]
1. Open the Programs and Features under Control Panel and uninstall
"Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba", which is currently installed,
and then reboot your PC.
2. Install "Bluetooth Monitor (BtMon3Inst_v3xx.exe)" software from the
"C:\TOSAPINS\Bluetooth Monitor" folder.
3. "Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack" will be installed automatically.
Open the Control Panel and open "Bluetooth Device" to configure the
settings (to display the Bluetooth icon to the task bar, open "Options"
tab and enable "Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area").

1. 進入控制台到「安裝或移除程式」，假如 Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba 有在裡面，請反安裝後，重新開機。
2. 安裝 Bluetooth Monitor (BtMon3Inst_v3xx.exe) 從 C:\TOSAPINS\Bluetooth Monitor。（這要看你解壓縮解到哪邊，不一定是這邊就是了）
3. Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack 將被自動安裝。進入控制台，開啟 Bluetooth Device 去設定。選擇 Options，然後勾選「Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area」。

[Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Stack -> Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba]
1. Install "Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba Vx.xx.xx" from
the Recovery Media or Application Installer.
2. Reboot the PC.

1. 安裝 Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba (Vx.xx.xx 某某版本) 從復原光碟 Recovery CD或官方網站上下載的軟體。
2. 重新開機。

上面兩種安裝方法選一種就可以了。

看完以上這份文件，我實在不了為什麼要提供 Bluetooth Stack
Bluetooth Monitor 不是用來取代 Bluetooth Stack 的嗎？
這份文件一開始不就說明了？
上面這份文件我覺得莫名其妙的，不理可能會比較好 ._.

另外 64 位元的系統支援的並不是很完整
要使用 64 位元 Vista 的朋友可能要再等一陣子 :P

還有 64 位元的 Vista 也是有支援 32 位元的軟體跟驅動程式的
不過並不是所有 32 位元的軟體及驅動程式都能夠在 64 位元上正常執行的喔！
