Italy is an excellent choice for honeymoon. My wife choosed Italy for our honeymoon a few years ago. I am sure both you and your newly wedded wife will enjoy the scenery of Italy.
With all due respect to your concerns of whether to bring C1585 or B005 or 580ex2, I must tell you what I think.
I will recommand you to bring both B005(or C28mmF1.8USM if you have one) and C1585 with you to Italy.
There are many renowned historical sites or museums in Italy and nearly 100% of them DO NOT allow visitors to use any kind of flashes on the camara body. Trust me, they will ask you to leave if they see you use flash in the museum. So, there is really no point of bring your 580ex2 with you.
So, that is when B005's F2.8 comes in handy in the indoor setting. You know what I mean?
As for the C1585, I strongly recommand you to bring C1585 with you. You will need the 15mm to take picture of the huge church and palace. Believe me, it is one huge church.
Also, buy CPL for your C1585. Although the sky is pretty blue there in Italy, A CPL helps.
By the way, make sure you and your wife keep an eye on your purse and wallet. There are just damn lots of pocket pickers and thieves in Italy.
