It's not the entire 1D X AF system - because the 5D III doesn't have the 1D X's 100,000 pixel metering sensor to gain tracking information from, nor a dedicated Digic 4 processor to make sense of it all. However, even without them, it's still one of the most comprehensive AF systems on the market and, most importantly, brings the camera much closer to the level of contemporary Nikons.

It's worth bearing in mind though that, while Nikon has long used high pixel count metering sensors to improve tracking accuracy, the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV was competative with the D3S, without this capability. Crucially, in addition to this added sophistication, the 5D Mark III also inherits the 1D X's subject-based configuration presets, to make it easier to get the best out of the system.
這點講得不是很清楚, 它只說1D4追焦能力上不如D3s, 而5D3則是繼承了1DX的主體預設(?)
The 5D III loses out to the Nikon D4 and D800 when it comes to use with slower lenses or long lens/teleconverter combinations, in that its cross type points can only be used with lenses that are F4 or brighter (and the double-crosses with F2.8 and brighter lenses). Canon says there's a trade-off to be made and that its approach allows the sensor to be more accurate with the large aperture lenses it expects its customers to use, and allows the F4 cross-type sensors to be placed further towards the edge of the frame.
D4/D800可用f8.0鏡頭還能對焦, 而5D3的十字對焦點必須f4.0以上, 雙十字對焦點必須f2.8以上才能對, 所以能力上不如D4/D800. 但Canon則是強調精確度. (當然鏡頭本身的光圈要夠大)

機身配置 規格...感覺起來真的是不同等級的
常說的5d系列是初階全幅
5d3看上去 就是屬中高階全幅了...5d3的定位應該是3d 這樣比較貼切
像是60d和7d的關係 拍出來差很多嗎 其實差不多
但其機身等級的劃分 才是價值得所在
5d3的機身操控看起來是7d的延續...這部分比起5d2就好上不少了
測光看文是7d的測光...這也好很多 原本5d2的點測區域偏大 感測不穩
對焦系統就不用說了 整個跳過7d大爆發...
如果要5d3要11萬 也算是有其價值...說跟6萬的5d2比貴
那我還覺得6萬的5d2跟二手3萬的5d比...5d2才貴哩

1D4 即使沒有額外的影像 sensor 來輔助追焦，一樣能跟 D3S 很有的拼；而 5D3 則是繼承了 1DX 的物件對焦的設定。
