Canon Eye-controlled focusing以前只有用於3以下的系統，1系列完全沒有用過，
即使以前EOS 1V與 EOS 3都是使用45點對焦系統，但是1V就是完全沒有加入"Canon Eye-controlled focusing"。
1系列要求的是穩定，要放入規格內的，都要求穩定與實用。

眼控對焦不是來取代原有的對焦系統，只是一個選項，可以選擇開啟或關閉，建議先了解一下Canon的眼控對焦架構。

但是如果5DIII真的加入眼控，我覺得對於我來說會是超級大加分!
光不用手動選擇對焦點就真的方便很多
更何況以前底片機的眼控確實是可關閉的
不過我還是抱持比較懷疑的態度就是
因為先前有傳出Canon沒在後面的數位相機加入眼控是因為牽涉到軍事用途
真實情況如何也差不多就可以知道了
我只能說眼控真的是一張牌，因為真的不錯用!
關於紅色字體部分，不是"有可能如你所說沒用在1V"，是Canon根本沒有使用ECF(Eye-controlled focusing)在EOS 1V上，
我自己擁有過1V，當然知道，1V上沒有沒有這個功能，
同時也擁有過具有ECF(Eye-controlled focusing)的EOS 30V，
而在我上一篇回覆中，有引用wiki的Canon EOS架構的ECF(Eye-controlled focusing)資料，
那段文字中的紅色文字就有提到有使用ECF(Eye-controlled focusing)的機型。
依序分別為： EOS A2E(EOS 5[Europe]/EOS 5 QD[Japan])、EOS Elan IIE(EOS 50e[Europe]/EOS 55[Japan])、EOS IXe、EOS-3、EOS Elan 7E(EOS 30[Europe]/EOS 7[Japan])、and EOS Elan 7NE(EOS 30V[Europe]/EOS 7s[Japan]).
