, but according to the camera's specification there must be such function .Besides, there are 2 mode available(in custom settings), one is traditional one while another is CONTRAST AF , which is used in usual DCs.Check this picture, if set to 1 no AF can be done.

From this picture, push the key on the left(The one under character *) to do AF in LV.
