I am very impressed by those images, but I've to admitted that the lens they used were almost all high grade ones rather than kit lens. I think the quality of lens you use will determine how much you could get from E-P1. The statement is also true when you look at the E-P1 images in mobile01 forum, since the images taken by many photographers here, like olddo, were mostly shot with high grade lens in companion with E-P1.
Not like you. Image quality is NOT what I want to pursuit from E-P1. There is no point to use a large, heavy, high grade prime len with it. The whole point of E-P1 is the easy-to-carry size and light weight. Not to mention the deep depth-of-view comes with small CMOS size, which make snapshot much easier, since the hyper focal distance is much easier to reach with wide-open aperture. I will use it as the second camera, in addition to my D3, and primarily used it for street photography and snapshot. In my opinion, E-P1 is currently the best camera on the market for these shooting conditions. Photography of Zhiyi Xie
