That said, the Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution is a good thing, especially as the Sony Vaio VPCF11M1E is equipped with a Blu-Ray player.
The "Premium" screen is reserved for other models in the F11 series: the VPCF11S1E and VPCF11Z1E. The contrast ratio is then much improved and a matte rather than glossy screen is used.

The Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution gives 100% satisfaction in terms of the built-in Blu-Ray player. The screen is also easier on the eye with more information displayed on the screen.
We hoped for more when it came to contrast ratio: just 586:1 with blacks at 0.18 cd/m² and whites at 105.5 cd/m². This is fine but for a "Premium" screen it might have been doubled.
The technology used is obviously TN because of the very reduced vertical viewing angles (colours darken when seen from below and lighten when seen from above). The response time is equivalent to 5 ms models, which is sufficient for office doc usage and viewing films.
Default colours are not well set, with a difference (deltaE) of 6.8. This panel has a wider colorimetric field, which causes no particular problems (no dominant colours for example). After calibration, the deltaE drops to 1.3 (slight difference on blue and green).

To start with, black at 1.05 cd/m² against a white background of 200 cd/m² leaving a very poor contrast score of just 210:1. Once again, it's another screen with colour tones dominated by blues.

我說,Kao大我自己都不這樣叫,我都叫花王大,
因為,我家女兒都用妙而舒,而生產妙而舒的是"KAO",日文就是"花王",
所以,就變成花王大.
應該沒有人知道這個典故才對....

VAIO這種東西,會支持的就一定會支持,會批的也一定會狠批,
最主要是了解個人的需求就好.
中毒慢慢也會好的,會有一陣子收集的想法,會囤積很多的VAIO(最多囤到6部),
然後,就會慢慢進化到清楚明白自己要的機器的定位是什麼,
然後就會只保留需要的機器,或者採購適合自己的機器而非最高階的機器.
大型機器一直都有想要更換一部的念頭,因為HX最近也差不多到了該退役的時間了....
不過要大小弟可能會需要更大一點的18吋,上周在某處看到AW47,算起來4萬左右....
F115是好機器,好好欣賞好好用它吧....
