基於IMA的幫助, 加速感跟一般的Honda NA車很不一様. 低轉就有充足的力量起步. 隨著轉數上升, 力量很線性地出來. 這車當然不是什麼鋼炮. 2650lb的車重, 122hp只是夠用. 6-speed manual transmission 的ratio設定有點着重於省油. 其實路加速其實跟手排Fit不相上下.
油耗方面就一直維持在37-39mpg. 最省油的一次是44mpg, 九成走freeway. 我上一台車就只有26-29mpg... 200hp嘛... 是要付出多些.
舒適方面比我想像中要好. 以這個尺寸的車身在南加州的洗衣板公路上卻很少給我不適的感覺. Ride quality跟我的TSX(with A-spec suspension)沒什麼大的差別. 這車的隔音以Honda來說做得很不錯. Honda在engine和exhaust noise上做過一些調節. 當一般的情況是廷靜, 比Civic, Fit更靜. 油門踏下去轉數上升時, engine, exhaust的聲音就傳到車內.
在多彎的路上配上Sport mode最能感受CR-Z帶給靈的活駕駛樂趣. Sport mode方向盤會加重回饋力道. 轉向的手感明確. CR-Z雖是前驅但卻有點後軸向外滑移的完素. 高速入彎後,收點油門,後輪就會稍微向外滑移.
