動力學
本課程旨在讓同學確實了解動力學的理論與應用,其內容有運動學與動力學;前者含絕對運動與相對運動,後者含力-質量-加速度法、衝量-動量法與功-能法。
The main purpose of the course is to provide the students with a sound understanding of theory and application of Dynamics. The contents of this course contain Kinematics and Kinetics. The former includes absolute motion and relative motion; the latter includes the FMA method, the impulse-momentum method and the work-energy method.
機械設計 Machine Design
本課程旨在讓同學確實了解機械設計的理論與應用,其內容有機械元件設計與機械系統設計;前者含軸、齒輪、離合器、煞車等,後者為整合型設計。
The main purpose of the course is to provide the students with a sound understanding of theory and application of Machine Design. The contents of this course contain machine element design and machine system design. The former includes shafts, gears, clutches, brakes, etc.; the latter deals with integrated designs.
機械材料 Mechanical Materials
介紹瞭解機械材料之微觀及巨觀性質與基礎原理及選用
Introduction to mechanical properties of materials in the micro and macro view, and study the fundamental properties and selection.
機器動力學 Dynamics of Machinery
介紹機器中運轉產生的慣性力、運動靜力、運動方程式、旋轉質量平衡、往復質量平衡、飛輪、陀螺儀效應、臨界轉速等。
Introduce the inertia forces in machine, kinetostatics, equation of motion, balancing of rotating masses, balancing of reciprocating masses, flywheels, gyroscopic effect, and critical speed.
材料力學 Mechanics of Materials
本課程主要主題涵蓋結構元件承受拉伸、壓縮、扭轉與彎曲。其他主題有有應力及應變的轉換、複合負載、應力集中與彎曲的分析與設計、粱的橈曲及柱的穩定性等一般論題。
The main topics covered in this course are the analysis and design of structural members subjected to tension, compression, torsion, and bending. Other topics of general interest are the transformation of stress and strain, combined loadings, stress concentrations, deflections of beams, and stability of columns.
應用力學 Applied Mechanics
使學生瞭解向量與力量力矩的關係及剛體受外力時靜平衡之條件
Introduction to the relation between vector and external load and equilibrium condition for rigid body
熱處理 Heat Treatment
在學習工程材料的熱處理原理及技術,本課程在研習傳統熱處理方法及近代熱處理方法,包括過火、正常化、淬火、表面硬化及其他特殊方法。
To learn the heat treatment theory and technique of engineering materials. This course includes the tradition heat treatment method and the morden heat treatment method involves annealing,normalizing,quenching,case hardening and the other special method.

熱傳學 Heat Transfer
學習熱傳學之目的在於了解熱傳機制及其應用;本課程包含熱傳導、熱對流和熱輻射。
The purpose of learning heat transfer is intended to understand the mechanisms of heat transfer and its application. The contents of the course include heat conduction, heat convection and heat radiation.
內燃機 Internal Combustion Engine
本課程目的在於教導熱能轉換成機械能、引擎循環的觀念。主要包括引擎操作特性、引擎循環、熱化學計算及引擎性能測試分析等。
This course is to teach the students about the transformation between heat and mechanical energy, and the fundamentals of engine cycles. The contents include engine operating characteristics, engine cycles, thermo-chemistry calculations and testing and analysis of engine performance.
引擎設計 Engine Design
本課程目的在於結合熱力學、內燃機等課程,落實理論與實務,進行引擎相關零組件的設計。內容包括引擎操作參數簡介、引擎燃燒壓力分析、引擎動件及非動件設計等。
The courses of thermodynamics and internal combustion are combined to teach the design of the engine components. The contents include introduction of engine operating characteristics, analysis of cylinder pressure, design of moving parts and non-moving parts.

熱力學為物理及化學的分支,主要在討論能量之轉換,藉此可以研究及設計能量系統,課程包括熱力學第一定律,純質及理想氣體方程式,控制容積分析,第二定律及焓等計算。
Thermodynamic is a branch of both physics and chemistry. There is includes the study of energy transformation. Engineers use this basic information to study and design energy systems. This course includes the first law of thermodynamic, properties of pure substance, ideal gas law, control-volume energy analysis, the second law and entropy.
