for reference, this case could be very serious, the screw which holds the VANOS system valve timing chain pulley could break and it is possible that the pulley is not running normally and could also have caused the camshaft damaged or something "wrong" inside the engine if the problem existing too long without repair. Some cases in China indicate even the screws are replaced with new one, the engine may not perform normally as it could be affected due to damage extended to camshaft and engine . While changing the screws under recall, be sure to also check the engine after repair.
