Thanks for your sharing! Your car is great!

Hey Sammy!

Got your engine tunned yet? CEL still on?

Did you roll your fender to fit the 235/40/17 tire?

Without porting the wastegate or running a external wastegate,
boost spike issue can never be completely resolved. But if I spend
money on porting it or adding an external wastegate, why on stock TD04?
I am interested in 18G on TD05 housing, nice spooling and high end power...
Wont be anytime soon though, I still want to run street touring ultra "STU"
class for 2007 SCCA events.
I plan to upgrade the power after all suspension and chasis comepletely
tunned (e.g. trailing arms, aluminium front control arms, 27/29 whiteline
front sway, Cusco H brace, ball joint extenders...etc.)
About the CEL, I deactivated it with ap. No more issues, I found it only
occurs when I run HARD at temperature of 35F and below. And it never
happened when weather is reasonablely warm... so I dont really worry
about it

I didnt roll my fender, here are the numbers for my car
Front camber: 2.3 to 2.4 both Front toe: its close to 0 now, was toe out a tad
Rear Camber: 1.5 both side; Rear toe: Little toe out to 0 toe...

I had my alignment done by AndrewTech, he gave me nice cambers,
but he toe out the front and toe in on rear, which is a very bad idea....IMO
So, I made my own alignment on toe to 0 front, slightly toe out for rear.....
Big handling difference... closer to rear wheel drive especially when cornering
under throttle.... my car is "slightly over-steering, and very controlable if sideway"
Back to fender rolling, it depends on how low we low the car,
how high is the spring rate, and what camber you are running.
My pink low the car about 15mm.... 223/187 (F/R) in spring rate...... -1.5 camber.
Never rubbed the fender (F and R) whatsoever. even when car is fully loaded with big guys.
If you low your car more than 1.5 inch, you should either run mad camber, or
mad spring rate. I am planning to switch to Subaru Tarmac spring (347/286 F/R).
My personal opinion is better to keep the front end higher than the rear end.
Which gives you more font suspension travel during very hard cornering, and
also keep your rear tires on groud as much as possible.....
I have my car front and rear about same high (same wheel gap).... which is
BAD for autocross, I almost always run only three wheels on ground in hard
cornering... which I really really dont like it...
I hope I have answered your question...

Sammy
