Dear Hugo, as an Italian man I think you have not been to Italy recently - this could be relatively true(and it should make me proud) for women born from 88 (and I'm stretching a bit) going backward - but the new generation of Italian girls (and boys, and I'd like to underline BOYS AS WELL!!!) is beyond dumb and completely anesthetized by mediocre Italian media. Forget about culture, forget about knowing how to cook, they really do not give a fXck about it - all it matters is to look good and wealthy to the eyes of your pairs (again: boys are exactly the same) - so they'll still look beautiful, but empty.
This is what Italy is becoming under the shade of small men who ruled over it. It's nice to read articles like this one, but a bit sad too. To see what Italy was and could have become and what became instead.... Ah and I'm surprised to see that you wrote a list of compliments and got such a reaction from some Italian ladies... this guy just said you're clever, smart, elegant and beautiful basically and you got pissed off, he treated you much better than majority of men would and here you are complaining that you do not relate to any of those 10 points, well guess what? he was generalizing, OF COURSE! And I'm still trying to find out WHY on earth generalizing is bad when it's the most common practice of the human kind after mating - I must seek for an answer to such bad reaction to this post in the list of 10 reasons to hate Italian women.
