R45 Radial lacing
The R45 hubshell has been designed with the most common lacing patterns in mind. We recommend specialcare be taken when building and using radial laced wheels. The undersides of spoke heads may sometimes have considerable seam lines that can make an impression or “cut line” in the hubshell hole chamfer. Please inspectand selectively sort out these spokes to minimize this possibility. Nipples on radial spokes may have a tendency tounthread themselves if a spoke preparation compound is not used on spoke threads. Radial laced wheels are also
more sensitive to over- or under-tensioning, thus proper wheel building practices must be followed. Please follow thespoke manufacturer’s recommended tension specifications when building wheels. Inspect hubs and check spoke tension at regular intervals.
R45直拉要注意鋼絲頭的切面，還有鋁頭容易鬆脫，也要注意張力過高的問題。看起來好像是可以直拉的樣子....

Does the hub warranty cover radial lacing?
Answer: The only Chris King hub to allow radial lacing is the R45 product line. The driveside of the rear hub should always have at least one cross.
