應該是說管子顏色花紋好看乾淨的就拿來做清漆. 燒的顏色有點髒的就上漆. 這樣吧？

有關清漆的其它, 我在 yahoo 的知名 brompton group 找到以下. 這是在說09年以前的就是了
:"The raw frame is bristled/brushed but not polished, a quite elaborated process, than zinc-phosphete.
Than to get its final finish and protection the 'raw' frame is lacquered with a clear coat.
(clear) lacquer = (clear) coat = a shinyish finishing layer of (transparent) (mosttimes robust) paint.
BTW
Other Bromptons have to do without such a clear coat finish, their main and only paint being quite robust has to withstand all weather and dirt coming its way, it normally does a good job. Since (an extra) clear coat would add quite some extra weight/cost to the bike, without making it significantly better, Brompton always choose to have one kind of coat to do the whole job.
Knowing the nature of the bikes use that demands quite an high quality, and thus very thorough control, the latter being one of the reasons of recent (extra) delays, if the paintwork doesn't meet the (technical) standard the frame is rejected and stripped to be refinished (which takes a lot of time)."
"You can't "touch-up" powdercoated metal with the same kind of finish as the original. Powdercoating, including clear powders, are spray applied dry under air pressure while the receiving object is electrostatically charged. The object is then baked in an oven hot enough to cause the powder to melt onto the prepared metal surface (the powder is really a pigmented plastic material, commonly polyester but others are possible.)
You can touch up small areas with a solvent-based paint as long as the surface is clean of rust or dirt. More extensive damage may require an entire re-coating after removal of the old powder finish. Removal is typically done by abrasive grit blasting."
Touching up - 也有很多人建議就用透明指甲油, 或是模型店的 clearcoat enamel
