However, there is an exception... That's highway 17.
My sister told me that when she drove her previous car 2000 Accord LX on that highway at first time, she was frightened to death!!!
That highway has both uphill and downhill at each direction. The peak is the middle of the whole route...
If I drive at 105 km/h on that highway, I can get 0.6G easily and 0.8G possible...
PS: You can see a 40 speed sign above the video. That's mph. So the suggested speed should be 64 km/h. However, the real speed limit is 80 km/h. If you drive at below 105 km/h, you should not be received a ticket as we have 10-15mph(16-24km/h) buffer in California...

I also saw a latest Camry running at around 150Km/h on that highway just right before a bend!!! (Why I knew its speed... That's because I was chasing it but I just couldn't continue because it's TOO SCARY!!!
)I just wonder why they were so CONFIDENT... Their tires did not look particularly big...
I also think anything beyond 0.8G on public roads is insane for me!!!

Actually it's not that the entire Highway 17 is dangerous... The dangerous part is only about 25 kms. I just drove that part 3 times which includes 6 uphill and 6 downhill. The total was 25*2*3 = 150kms and 1.5 hour.
I think I was a bit optimistic... For 105km/h I only received 0.6G at max.
However, do not underrate that 0.6G as Highway 17 is a highway, not a low speed mountain roads. It became more scary at higher speed...
I definitely could increase the speed but Highway 17 is a busy and vital highway... There could be a lot of COPS on the roads... (I can see a cop even just using Goggle Map!!! A hiding cop
)In addition, at that high speed the result could be very fatal if I'm OVER the limits...

Finally I received 0.7G. The cornering speed was around 120km/h. I don't have a radar detector... So, I usually don't drive that fast. (I may get a ticket) However, this morning a 911 GT3 showed up... (I was lucky this time) So, I just followed it...
I think if I want to get 0.8G on that highway, I probably have to increase cornering speed to at least 135km/h!!!

I think that Porsche driver didn't want to increase the speed as it could become quite risky on public roads...
I also found a crazy pick up truck driver again... That pick up truck ran about 0.5-0.6G DOWNHILL on that highway!!!
(really ran on the limit!!!)
