Last week I finally broke my personal record and reached 130km/h, 0.7G at some very tight corners on highway 17...

The speed limit on highway 17 is 50mph or 80km/h. In my opinion, 50mph is already quite fast on that highway. If it is in Taiwan, I think the speed limit would be 50km/h, not 50mph!!!

Actually I just chased after two very old Japanese cars which were MR2(W20) and 6th gen. Civic(EJ). I was very glad to find some cars leading the way for me FINALLY!!! Of course, both had been modified. (supercharged, lowered and huge tires!!!)

Even with my Ohlins 16/12K(=16/19K actually) suspension, the experience was still quite thrilling for me. (The public roads are narrow and they are busy sometimes and full of many different types of drivers)

Now I realize those people driving very fast on public roads with only OEM softer suspensions have some REALLY BIG HEARTS!!!

Of course, my GSF even with OEM suspension and tires can do much better than 0.7G...

However, I really don't think it's a good idea to drive more than 0.8G on public roads!!! (On mountain roads, I did reach 0.9-1G several times, not many)

This is my personal record in Brands Hatch GP... 1'25"xxx (I just made it today )

I also found that I already drove these GT3 race cars for nearly 40K kms in about three months!!! (No wonder my driving skill gets better and better recently)

The PC version I bought 2 weeks ago in the below is nearly 9K kms but I also have XBOX version which I bought 3 months ago.

The below video is 1'24"xxx (The world record is 1'23"xxx)

Today I drove a GT-R GT3 race car to compete with supercars... (Of course, in a sim-racing game, Assetto Corsa)

Some of those supercars are even faster than GT3 race car on the straight. However, if the road was not totally straight I could eat them like a piece of cake!!! (Compared with GT3 race cars, those super cars are TOO SOFT, had a lot of body rolls and became unstable, if you also check them closely at the corners or during hard braking)

2'18"xxx in SPA... (Actually for me this track is the easiest so far. I've only driven on this track for less than 1700kms in my life!!!)

Please be noted the car I drove was 2012 GT-R GT3 race car which was already outdated now for today's standards.

However, 2'18"xxx is still very fast in 2021 GT World race series. (SPA in 2021 GT World race series)

My sister owns two Honda in her family...
1. 2011 MDX 160K kms (2000 kgs)
2. 2015 FIT 80K kms (1150 kgs)

She said her MDX was much better to drive on the highway. Yes. MDX is much heavier but it's also much more stable on the highway even though MDX is a tall SUV.

If possible, she would always choose MDX to drive... She said she felt much more tired when driving her FIT. The only thing she didn't like about her MDX was MPG!!!

My sister also said so far her two Hondas had no issue, only maintenance!!!

PS: In the past some people said Japanese cars were too light but nowadays they say Japanese cars were too heavy. Actually I have a different opinion... I would say German cars were too heavy in the past and now they're too light!!!

Let me tell you another secret...

Why do my cars keep feeling like a NEW car??? Besides Japanese cars are very reliable, I also put aftermarket suspensions Koni yellow, KW V3, Bilstein PSS10 and Ohlins DFV on my cars. All those aftermarket suspensions come with ADJUSTABLE dampers.

Then, I can adjust them year by year to keep the suspension VERY TIGHT and let them handle like a new car year by year...

PS: The FIGS Ohlins DFV 16/12K(=16/20K effectively) let my GSF kind of feel like a GT3 race car everyday!!!

GR Corolla is faster than Golf R on track!!!

Actually both are fun and fast and the difference is subtle... However, one thing I'm pretty sure is...

"GR Corolla will be much more RELIABLE than Golf R!!!"
