2026 Lexus LFR (I also finally paid off my two children college expense, $200,000 totally. Hope I can afford it, then...)

PS: however, I also has to provide another $50,000, as my daughter will study for PhD degree soon and my son is also studying for Stanford MS degree now!!!

This Lexus expert estimates the power of incoming LFR or LFA 2 should be hybrid V8 and possibly 900hp combined!!! (For me, 700hp combined is really good enough. )

The MSRP should be at least $150,000... (Thank GOD! At least, it's much cheaper than LFA!!! )

The current value of my 2017 GSF is still very good which is around $47,000. (I bought it in 2017 winter at $64,500 + tax)

I think I will not sell it. I just need to change the current Ohlins suspension back to stock suspension and let my wife drive it. (My wife also said she LOVED GSF's stock suspension a lot which is a little stiff but not too stiff!!!)

PS: I also expect the incoming LFR(LFA 2) will hold its value very well in the long run just like GT-R and NSX hybrid, as these Japanese cars are very reliable!!! (I may sell LFR in the future as LFR is actually not very practical!!!)
Do you know... Blue book used car value could lie...

Blue book says the value of 2017 GT-R is $75,000.

https://www.kbb.com/nissan/gt-r/2017/track-edition-coupe-2d/?vehicleid=431105&mileage=55000&offeroptions=true&modalview=false&intent=trade-in-sell&pricetype=private-party&condition=good&options=8067280%7Ctrue&extcolor=blue&subintent=sell&entry=defymmt

But, in reality, all of used 2017 GT-Rs for sale in USA still ask around $100,000!!!

PS: But, I believe the blue book value for GSF, M5 and M6 should be correct... (so, I also believe, in the future, a used LFR(LFA 2) should be sold like A HOT CAKE!!! )
I just found something interesting...

Used 2017 NSX hybrid is actually about the same price as Used 2017 GT-R!!! (In my opinion, NSX is definitely a better car. Much newer technology...)

If I cannot afford LFR(LFA 2), I can buy a used NSX hybrid, instead. Actually, used NSX hybrid is a bargain...

A brand new fully loaded 2017 NSX hybrid could reach almost 200,000 which is almost two times of 2017 GT-R's price!!!

Maybe I just buy a used NSX hybrid first, and wait and see how the incoming LFR(LFA 2) goes...

PS: Of course, I will keep my current GSF, as these exotic performance cars are actually very impractical...
Believe it or not... I was so excided that I became sleepless last night!!!

I think I don't need to hurry. Right now, I'm at a very good position. My current GSF is still very reliable and fun. It's really not necessary to make any decision now...

I'm also very happy that I didn't buy a Q60S 3 years ago. Otherwise, I shouldn't be able to afford a LFR(LFA 2) now!!! (Just like my son, if his G35 hadn't been stolen, he really would haven't needed to buy a 2024 Accord hybrid, as his old G35 was still very reliable and fun!!!)

PS: If he keeps driving his G35 until it dies or having a stable income 3 years later, his next car should be a Lexus or Acura or Infiniti instead of Toyota or Honda or Nissan!!! (Again, good job, Japan!!!)
The car price is cheaper in USA but the living cost here is very high!!!

Because of the virus, my two children stayed at home for about 2 years. If they had both lived around the campus for those two years, they both would have needed additional 25,000 each or 50,000 totally. In addition, again, Stanford is near our house. If my son lives around the campus, he will also need another 25,000...

Right now...
The single family house price in our city is around 1,750,000 average. (the property tax PER YEAR is around 16,500)
The monthly rent for 3 bed room apartment in our city is around 3,250...

So, do you still think the car in USA is cheap??? (Again, I think Japan is really amazing, their cars' prices are not high here but their cars are still very good and reliable!!! I think they just make minimum profit...Thank you, Japan!!! )
