My tire pressures are 33 now... Actually their loading rating at 33 are higher than those at 36 on OEM tires!!!

Tire loading rating...

255/35R19@36 = 275/35R19@31
275/35R19@36 = 285/35R19@32

Actually I did many things right in the past...

1. Changed tires from 255/35R19 & 275/35R19 to 275/35R19 & 285/35R19 to increase sidewalls(comfort) of the tires.
2. Reduced tire pressures from 36 to 30.
3. Softer Ohlins dampers to let car bounce a little bit.

However, I made a mistake on choosing Bridgestone tires which were quite stiff and a bit stiffer than PSS. (Actually PSS tires were already not very comfort on Ohlins but I still chose BS!!! That's totally in a WRONG direction!!!)

PS: Believe it or not... I was also thinking about changing 19in wheels to 18in wheels. However, those Brembo brakes were too big. I did't think 18in was a feasible solution!!! (Thank God! I didn't do it as those OEM wheels were really awesome!!!)
I checked my previous post... I can't believe I said...

-------------
It's so comfortable that I have to raise tire pressure to get some more driving feel back since PSS tires become TOO SOFT after I keep driving my GSF spiritedly for 3 weeks now!!!

------------

I think what I really meant was... Yes. It's comfortable. But, that's because my previous ride was 2007 G35S with KW V3 and PSS10!!! Of course, Ohlins was NOT as comfortable as the OEM suspension... (NO WAY!!!)
I think I'm getting more and more greedy now... I want my Ohlins to be as comfort as OEM suspension!!!

I think it's not too far now...

PS: I also become more and more experienced now. If I can make my current Ohlins to be as comfortable as OEM, then I think I don't have to worry about if my next car will be too soft... This also reminds me of a slogan from Koni which is...

If I choose Koni(Ohlins), you don't have to choose a car!!! (every car can be fun!!!)

Actually putting a stiffer suspension on a softer suspension car is even more rewarding on a stiffer suspension car... (as the softer suspension car tries to compete with those stiffer suspension cars!!!)
Actually even though you choose a car(Porsche), you still need Ohlins!!!

I finally found my stiffest Ohlins settings.... That's 6/12 in Feb 2023... (That's a very stiff setting as the rear tires were still S007A!!!)

https://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=346&t=6418118&p=72

I think I started to stiff up the front setting since I changed the front tires Bridgestone S-04 to V601 in Nov 2022. Actually, the front became much more comfortable but the rear was still very stiff due to the very stiff rear tires S007A... That's why I was so conservative on the rear setting at that time... (Now the thing becomes more and more clear!!!)

Then, I softened my Ohlins settings to 9/14 as 6/12 was too stiff...

Guess what... Now, my Ohlins settings are 6/10 and the ride is still very comfortable and much more comfortable than before!!! (So, very stiff BS tires are really the culprit!!!)

PS: I think that's why I didn't notice any harsher ride when I just stiffed up the front recently??? At that time, I wondered why my front dampers became so soft even though I stiffed up the front setting a bit!!!(Actually it's softer front tires, not softer dampers!!!) (Yes. I learned the lesson... )
The below is a tire comparison test about V601 from TireRack!!! (Please be noted Indy500 is RE003 in Asia.)

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/chartDisplay.jsp?ttid=329

First, TireRack said V601 was more comfortable than two Bridgestone tires...(Firestone is also belong to Bridgestone) I think it's correct!!!

Then, TireRack said V601 had two drawbacks... One is performance on wet.(California doesn't get a lot of rain) The other is braking. I don't know if it's right but I will keep them in mind. I don't want to not know it until TOO LATE!!! (I'm well prepared now.)

PS: From TireRack reviews, you can see Japanese tire companies perform not well...(Just like many other reviews on Japanese cars!!!) Will I trust those reviews? Of course NOT!!! (But, I will still reference them sometimes.)

Before, I trusted those reviews... Then, PSS had some major drawbacks like understeer seriously in the early to mid stages of the life and quite dangerous at 10C or below temperature. (Those outcomes completely let me shocked and unprepared!!! I will never buy Michelin summer tires again!!!)

Again, Everything has pros and cons. Japanese tire companies are definitely NOT that bad (at least in my experences)...
I also found something interesting in that TireRack review...

It seems RE-003(Indy500) is just like RE-001(RE-760) and doesn't perform well on wet... But, Bridgestone Potenza Sport is completely different... Actually, Bridgestone Potenza Sport perform better on wet!!!

PS: Please be noted in my experiences, all those BS summer tires wore out quite fast...
That's why sometimes I will buy 3-4 year old BS summer tires at only 40% of the price from TireRack... (I'm pretty sure they will wear out quite fast. So...)

Even though they're already 3-4 year old when I bought them, they're still very sticky!!!

PS: Believe it or not... Before buying V601 for my rear tires, I was considering buying 3-4 year old Bridgestone Potenza Sport. Thank GOD! They're OUT OF STOCK at that time!!! So, I didn't let BS tires keep punishing me!!!
