Screen:
Target Inputs: HDMIx (x = the number of the input you use, not "Common"!)
Screen Format: Wide
Auto Format: On (this depends on your personal prefs and the source!)
4:3 Default: 4:3 (I wan't to see 4:3-material with the original aspect ratio)
Display Area: Full Pixel (very important with a 1920x1080 resolution!)
Motionflow = Whatever you like (I use "Clear" which gives the smoothest motion and highest motion resolution (=sharper details on moving objects) - the backlight brightness may have to be increased, though)
Film Mode = Auto 1 (if that doesn't work use a different setting)
Game/Text Mode = off
Video/Photo = Video
x.v.Colour = Auto
Photo Colour Space = sYCC (I think this is only important in Photo Mode)
RGB Dynamic Range = Auto (this depends on the source, change only if you know what you are doing!)
Picture:
Target Inputs: HDMIx (the same number as above, naturally)
Picture Mode: Custom
Backlight: I use 5 in conjunction with Motionflow on Clear, YMMV!
Colour Temperature: Neutral (if you want your white white...)
Sharpness: Doesn't seem to have much influence on digital sources
Noise Reduction: Off (You don't need this with a HTPC on a digital input)
DRC Mode: Off (You don't need it and it increases input lag enormously!)
Black Corrector: Off (to get deep blacks)
Adv. Contrast Enhancer: Off or Low (I prefer Low)
Gamma: Off
LED Dynamic Control: Standard or Low (Off disables Local Dimming)
Auto Light Limiter: Off
Clear White: Off
Colour Space: Standard (Only change this if you know what your are doing!)
Live Colour: Low (gives a slight color boost - personal preference)
White Balance: On my set I set R Gain to -1, everything else remained 0
Detail Enhancer: Low (This is the real sharpness setting for HDMI inputs - personal preference, test this with a text display like a web page. You can crank the sharpness into "unnatural" territory, here!)
Edge Enhancer: Off (everything else can make text look slightly too "thin")
