I have a set of Bose computer speakers and i l like it a lot. I am sure you will enjoy your system a lot, too. After few years, if you want to upgrade to better system, you can still use your Bose in bedroom or dinning room. (like me, i am using my Bose speaker in bathroom now after i upgraded my computer speakers with B&W Zappin)
For those haven't bought Bose speakers yet. The best deal is the Bose Speaker package. cost from $700 and you can use your own dvd, or blueray player with a receiver of your choice. you can get "potentially" better sound with better flexibility. (like hook up to PS3, CableTV or so)

$700 come with a powered sub woofer. a much better deal than lifestyle series.

there are 3 level, $700 is the basic, $1000 is better, and $1300 is top of the line. (I think both $700 and $1000 model are pretty good deal)
