Same in my area. BTW, only 10th, and 11th grade are considered for UC here.

Good to know that, I remember I started to prep my college app on my junior year, not sure if that is still the same. I have heard someone say it actually start from freshman now.

She love to draw and actually she is quit of good at it, always got pick for school project. I am sure she didn't get that gen from me. I can't draw carp. Love to do paper art crafts as well, material is expensive down here in the island. Amazon save me a bundle on that. Enough bitching, go back to work now. LOL

不會啊,我們高中一群同學中,有個很有藝術天分,其他的科目就隨便,高中畢業也沒申請什麼大學,就去個art institute,開始學電腦動畫,後來混最好的就是他,各大電玩公司都待過,後來app開始流行就開始做app的graphics,最近也進了水果公司.. 錢賺的多不在話下,更重要的是做的工作是自己的興趣

補充一下,我們那時高中還有個也很愛畫畫,那時候 The Simpsons 剛開始紅,他高中都還沒畢業就被挖走,好像一個禮拜薪水就$2000.. 這是20多年前的行情..

學校已經寄信來要我去貸款

借錢我們也念不起
其實申請前我就知道aid不會給太多
(跟一般人比起來還是不錯拿了4萬5)
BU台北市還有一個校產
當初我的I-20也是BU發的
可惜我來到美國後直接到別的學校去申請轉學...
無緣的BU...

美國高中放榜大會

掛黃帶子是要畢業的12年級
一個一個唱名再宣佈要去上的大學
旁邊是11年級
這些都是NHS的會員大概是15%-18%的學生夠資格參加
能上4年制大學的99%都是NHS會員
除了課業成績還要有社區服務時限

得到掌聲最大聲的12年級是要去
USMC從軍的一個男生
這個高中出過一個3星還是4星美國空軍將軍
