Hi all,
Thanks for the reports! For those of you who just started getting a full page black screen since the update to Chrome 18 Stable, the issue is related to GPU compositing and we are actively investigating this right now. You can try setting your Catalyst drivers to always run Chrome on the Intel GPU in the Catalyst control center (as Silver_11 pointed out - thanks!) as an interim workaround.
We'll keep this thread updated on the progress of this issue.
