Due to personal issues, SNSD's Taeyeon will be quitting her job as a host for ChinChin Radio. Her last appearance on the show will be April 25, and she will officially quit on April 27.
It's been two years since Taeyeon began her work as a DJ for ChinChin, and she's shared the spot with both Jo Jungrin and Super Junior's Kangin. During this time, they both left, so Taeyeon has been running a one-woman show for the past year or so.
SM Entertainment briefly spoke of Taeyeon's plans for the future: 「After Taeyeon is able to rest, she will begin preparations for her musical and for performances overseas.」
The aforementioned musical, called 「The Song of the Sun,」 will have Taeyeon starring as the main female character. It's no wonder that she's had to call it quits for ChinChin, as preparing for this role while juggling being an SNSD member and MCing for KBS's WinWin calls for quite a bit of time! I'm sure that fans everywhere are praying for her success and good health.
