"說明：
1. 受理對象：屆役男年齡（滿十九歲當年一月一日起至滿三十六歲當年十二月三十一日止）以後，曾以僑民役男身分申請出境者及未曾在臺連續停留逾四個月（七十三年次以前出生）及一年內累積停留逾一八三天（七十四年次以後出生）者。
2. 欲申請四個月以上效期之核准文件，請於入國後向入出國及移民署或其服務處臨櫃申請。
Explanation:
1. Applicant: Those, whose conscription age (commencing from January 1 of the year of his 19th birthday till December 31 of the year of his 40th birthday) had expired, who had filed application to go abroad under the status of overseas Chinese while still eligible for military service and hadn’t stayed for more than 4 consecutive months (born before 1984) in Taiwan and those who had an accumulated stay of more than 183 days (born after 1985) within 1 year.
2. Those who wish to apply for a permit valid for more than 4 months should file his application with the National Immigration Agency or with his service unit upon arrival.
