Clazziquai Project is currently working on their new album and wants your input!
They have released a subtitled YouTube video, showing that they are hard at work in the studio. They announce they have 4 new songs already: one for a female vocal, one for a male vocal, a duet, and one other new song. The rest of the album will be ballad remakes of their original songs. Clazziquai Project is asking you which one of their songs should be transformed into a ballad.

Yoona Congratulates Lee SeungHoon
So who exactly is Lee SeungHoon?
For this of you who haven't been completely absorbed by the 2010 Winter Olympics, Lee SeungHoon is a representative for South Korea in men's speed skating. He has won both the silver and gold medals in the 5,000-m and 10,000-m categories, respectively, becoming the first South Korean to do so.
He completed the 10,000m speed skating in an amazing 12 minutes and 58 seconds.
But perhaps more importantly, Lee SeungHoon once revealed that SNSD's Yoona is his ideal type.
In response to this, Yoona has specially sent her congratulations to SeungHoon through her agency SM Entertainment, stating 「I was very impressed by his amazing performance in the 5,000m match, but as soon as I heard word of his gold medal win at the 10,000m match, as a fellow Korean, I was very proud. It's great news.」
On that note, Yoona continued 「I've heard that Lee SeungHoon chose me as his ideal type. I'm grateful…I wish to congratulate him on winning gold, I will continue to cheer him on.」

SNSD is Stressing Out Kim Jongkook?
Kim Jongkook has revealed some hard times he』s had to go through after starting activities for his new song nearly a month ago.
On the February 24th broadcast of MBC Golden Fishery Radio Star, Kim Jongkook created laughter as he announced, 「I came back with my new song This is the Person. It's a pretty good song, but unfortunately it came out at the same time as SNSD.「
Yoon Jongshin then scolded the star by asking, 「Why are you blaming SNSD?」 to which Kim Jongkook explained, 」Rather than blame, it seems like idols are the trend nowadays.」
The MCs then retorted, 「So then SNSD is first, and Kim Jongkook second?」
At this point, Kim Jongkook mentioned through his smiles, 」There's also 2AM.」
The MCs caught Kim Jongkook off-guard by adding, 「There's also Jung Yonghwa with CN Blue. So then that makes Kim Jongkook fourth!」
A shy Kim Jongkook answered nostalgically reminisced on his own heydays, adding, 」Back in the days, those kinds of idols really had to work their way to the top!」 He bashfully continued, 「Now I'm going to have some strength!」 while the MCs joked around by telling him to, 「Start a Muscle Generation!」*
As much as we all love our healthy doses of idol stars, it's still good to see solo artists like Kim Jongkook sticking around to spice up the music scene! Keep doing what you're doing, and don't let the young ones bring you down, Kim Jongkook!

Two Korean Megastars to Make a Comeback Together
Two of Korea's most famous stars will be making a comeback soon. And to make things even better, they're both coming back at the same time! Who could they be? It's none other than sexy superstars Rain and Lee Hyori!
Lee Hyori revealed that she will be releasing her fourth album near the end of March, while Rain is planning to release his special album around early April. Last time the two mega stars promoted together was in early 2003. Hyori was promoting songs from her very first album while Rain was doing 「How to Avoid the Sun」 from his second album.
Rain discussed this coincidence earlier stating, 」 I heard that I will be promoting at the same time as Lee Hyori. It has been 7 years since that last happened so I'm excited as well. As much as time has flown, both of us will be back with great performances.」
As their album release dates draw closer, the excitment and anticipation builds. Make sure to support Lee Hyori and Rain and wish them both the best of luck!

Lee SeungGi is gaining much popularity because of the Winter Olympic Games. No, he's not going to be competing, but his song 『Smile Boy』 from his third album is surely a gold medal winner!
The song is currently used as a theme song during broadcasts to support the athletes competing in the Games. The passionate lyrics of the song, 「I'm here with you forever. I have a dream. Have strength, have courage. You can do it!」 certainly gives strength and determination to the athletes and also to viewers cheering on their favorites.
Numerous netizens responded, 「I heard it often during the games, but never really knew who sang it. So I searched and suprised to find out that it was actually Lee SeungGi!」 They also said, 「The song matches well with the energetic athletes,」 and, 「It's a song that ties the whole nation's yearning and the athletes' hard work together.」

At earlier reported that new k-balladeer Anne had garnered much interest with her MV teaser that was released yesterday. The whole MV is out so check it out!

SNSD's Encore Concert and Yoona's Innisfree BTS
Fans can never get enough of their favourite idols, and that's just the case for So Nyuh Shi Dae.
SNSD's first Asia Tour 『Into The New World』 was held in South Korea last December with huge success, leaving fans screaming out for more.
In order to satisfy the fans' needs, as well as repaying the fans' support, the 『Encore! SNSD 1st Asia Tour』 concert was planned to be held on the upcoming 27th and 28th of February at Seoul Olympic Park's Fencing Stadium.
A representative from SNSD's agency, SM Entertainment, revealed that the encore concert will be different from the previous concert.
The encore concert marks their first solo concert after their comeback with 「Oh!」. There are plans to promote the other songs from SNSD's official second album.
Fans will be delighted to see these performances that are going to be performed for the very first time.
The representative of SM Entertainment added on, 「Look forward to the concert as the members are very busy practicing for their new performances.」
It is not surprising to see the explosive popularity of the girls as the tickets for their encore concert were sold out on the first day of sale.

People in their late 10's and early 20's start to want a lot of things. It is the same for the members of girl group KARA who are all within this age range. Although they have already stolen the hearts of fans - from those who call them 'Nuna' to fans old enough to be their uncles, we asked them what they wanted to steal.
Han Seungyeon and Goo Hara - Driver's License.
Getting a driver's license is one of the musts upon reaching the age of majority. Han Seungyeon related 'Although I want to receive lessons and get exams, its hard because of the tight schedules we have as a group.' While Goo Hara said 'I'm more worried about being able to change lanes properly if ever I am able to get my license.'
Nicole - Personal Practice Room
Among the KARA members, Nicole has the biggest wish. She said "I want my own personal practice room". It looks like she really spent a lot of time thinking about it because she explained how it should look like - one wall would be covered with mirrors, and at least 4 big speakers. Also, there must be a water purifier in the practice room. Lastly she added "There must also be a big sofa so that I can sit there for a while and think about different things."
Gyuri - Keyboards
Just like a true leader, Gyuri's wish was exemplary. Like a true singer, she said "I want a musical instrument, like keyboards". She added "I always wanted one, but our dorm is so small. But since we'll be moving soon, I'm thinking of getting one in my room."
Jiyoung - Vacation
Maknae Jiyoung, who is currently in middle school told us, looking like she wanted to cry, "Its almost school season". She said "Our group activities always seems to coincide with going back to school season. But since I already experienced this last year, I think I'll be able to handle it better this time. With new song Lupin, its new school season this February. And so, she chose vacation as the thing she wanted the most.

This is the first time for me to see SNSD's members promoting products in the "Oh!" outfit.
Yoona looks great here right?The phone looks delicious in the first way.
KARA: Shht! We're moving to a 4-bedroom dorm!
We'll soon be moving into a 4-bedroom dorm!
The TV in the living room was small and old fashioned. 5 members and only 2 rooms were obviously not enough, and through variety programs, fans got acquainted with girl group KARA's dorm.
Although fans described it as 'simple', others admitted that the dorm looked 'pitiful'. This, in addition to the member working hard in every show they went on earned them the unique nickname of 'economic idols'.
We were curious. Last year, they had not only one, but three hits - Pretty Girl, Honey and Mister. They were considered as one of the top girl groups, capable of a triple hit.. So we borrowed one of the popular lines from Gag Concert and asked "How's your household life?"
The girls burst into peals of laughter. They said they were still living in their old dorm, with two rooms and an old TV set. But they revealed that they will be moving soon. Leader Park Gyuri explained 'The lease contract with our old dorm already expired." From two rooms, the girls will be having 4 rooms. 3 members will have their own room, while 2 will be sharing. From 'Economic Idols', they can now be called as 'Life-style Idols', the girls are thinking and planning about furniture and appliances that they will be using.
"There are a lot of things that can still be used, why change it? But we have to think about our refrigerator.. Oh, and we all agreed to buy a running machine. It looks like the members will be assigning the order of who will get to use it. Haha!"
But how about the old TV set that brought them the nickname of 'Economic Idols'? They say that it still works well.
Q: What changed about KARA?
It was already one year ago when the 5 members sang "Honey~ Honey~" with that longing looks on their faces. With Lupin, they became thieves and changed their image completely that even their fans were surprised. They say that they became more 'cunning'.
"Now, definitely, you won't feel that we were the same cute group we were before - our dance, our expressions.. At first it was awkward for us, but we became more comfortable with it through time. There is more 'acting' involved this time."
There is also a huge difference in their styles, from their Pretty Girl days. Unlike their bright and shiny days, their style now is more neat and clean, a little more mature than before. Kang Jiyoung said "Our exposure became more elegant", which caused the other members to burst out laughing. What is elegant exposure exactly? They said that we will find out when we watch their performance on stage.
Q: After the 'Butt Dance', its the 'Emergency Exit Dance'?
Nowadays, when we talk about girl groups, not only are their hit songs, but also hit dance moves. KARA is no exception. They shook up everyone's hearts last year with Mister's Butt Dance.
When asked about their latest dance step, Goo Hara pointed to a sign and said "There it is!". The sign was for the emergency exit, as their new dance step was named by netizens as the 'Emergency Exit Dance'. Giving a girl group a dance name called 'Emergency Exit Dance', KARA fans came up with this unique name.
Compared to their previous songs, the choreography for Lupin is more complicated. However, KARA members are now 'athletes' in dancing, and so they have no problem with that. But they all said "This is because of the hardships in practices before, that we are able to do well now."
Member Nicole shares "Whenever I hear our debut song Break It, I can almost hear our choreographer shout "Get in line!" "Your hands!" like that. Haha!"
But now they wont have to hallucinate about hearing things like that right? Nicole, shook her head and said "Nowadays, I keep on hearing "Turn!". Turning while wearing killer heels is not an easy thing"
Q: What is KARA's Sexy face angle?
With the release of KARA's Lupin, many noticed that the group became sexier. It is no doubt that they have matured and become more womanly.
KARA's leader Park Gyuri said sweetly, "Instead of perceiving us as just sexy, I hope they see us as a more mature KARA."
When asked about what is sexy, each member gave a different answer. Kang Jiyoung said its "S-Line", Goo Hara said "Tight clothes and the color black" while Nicole said "Hand movements and the face angel." What does this mean?
"When doing sel-ca's, there's a thing called 'Ulzzang angle' right? There's also a face angle that will make you look sexy."
Nicole who packs up lunch every morning.
Many people take care of their diet and their body shape every 365 days. Even the members of the "Girl Group" are in this situation. People have been so jealous of SNSD's body that a "cattle diet," now know n to be false, was made. When Kara members were asked about what changed most dramatically in one year from "Pretty Girl" to "Lupin," they laughed replying "our appearance?"
But it is not only the face that changed. Say bye to the image of cute baby fat as Kara has the atmosphere of the maturity and strength. The members revealed that it was the diet that changed their appearance the most.
"Ever since our performance of the song "Honey" during the summer each of us started to diet. We can't always be cute you know."
Also for Sports Donga readers, Kara revealed their method of diet. Each member's diet is different, but these are the basic diet for all the members.
"You consume less carbohydrates and consume more protein and vitamin. Especially during dinner chicken breast and sweet potatoes make a good choice. Also Nicole wakes up early at morning and packs up lunches. She says that "there's no other way but to control one's calories" and that "anyone can do it if one works hard. "Instead of working out, Kara members work on the choreography intensively. As they can't eat whatever they want, they would feel depressed. They replied with a stern tone.
"This is our profession so of course we have to stay fit. No one forces us to do this. We just do this by ourselves."

First shots from 「Cinderella's Sister」 – opening titles!
Cinderella's Sister, KBS's upcoming buzz drama, shot its opening titles on February 19 after its first script rehearsal took place last week. The production has released the first shots of the drama's two stars, Moon Geun-young and Chun Jung-myung, which were taken at a resort in the Kyeonggi province.
(The mood seems a little heavier than I'd anticipated. Perhaps this』ll be a weightier drama than expected? Not that they ever said it would be fluffy — and with actors like Moon and Chun, we could expect better than throwaway silliness anyway — but when a kdrama throws the term 「Cinderella」 into its core description, one tends to think trendy romance.)
