Dear sir / madam, (2009-03-11)台北市體育總會自由車協會彭先生向法國申請加入函
My name is Josh, there to represent Taipei cycling association, Taiwan. We would love to be a representative of yours in Taiwan, just like Mr. Cheng. (鄭文章) However, we have no ideal how to apply for this and also don’t know is there any qualification that we have to be achieved before we could apply? Our association has six cycling events annually, and the rules of our events are base on BRM, apart from these six events we have, we are also planning for others. Here is the link of our website http://www.tpe-bike.org.tw/ Even the site is mostly written in Chinese, but we still have English version as event introduction on the left hand site. We are really looking forward to having your response.
I would like to thank for your interest for the Brevets de Randonneurs Mondiaux (BRM) and for the events your are organising. We are very pleased to see our cycling philosophy shared all over the world and for 2 years in Taiwan. In your country, the growth is amazing ad it is a real honour for us, Audax Club Parisien, to share with you our passion for randonneuring. One of our rules is to have only one representative per country. As Mr Cheng is our current representative, you should see with him to organize BRM in your area. Mr Cheng should verify your routes, collect your results and send them to me for homologation. I will send him back the homologation stickers, the medallions, etc… and he will send them to you. If you need more informations, feel free ton contact me.
Best regards, Jean-Gualbert FABUREL Audax Club Parisien
We are very happy to know the Taipei Cycling Association is interested to organize BRM in Taiwan. We believe it should be a team effort for those cycling clubs which are interested in BRM to promote BRM together in Taiwan. But as we can recall, two years ago Mr. Cheng did talk to Mr. Jian-Yun Peng of your Association ( Sorry, I am not sure it's you or not because of the English name) for the possibility of working together to promote BRM. Mr. Peng clearly stated the Association is not interested in BRM. Now we are very happy the Association changes its mind and please call either Mr. Cheng or me at 09xxxxxxxx to discuss.
