話說我雖然16歲就拿到駕照, 回台前已經有近10年的駕駛經驗, 可是台灣的駕駛環境完全是不一樣的阿,
回台後我搭了兩年多的公車, 習慣了台灣的交通, 從搭計程車一路驚叫還被司機罵, 一直到可以自在的過馬路, 終於決定要親自上路了.
樓樓樓上有位大大說得對, 北美的駕照拿回台灣可以直接換, 連筆試都不必.
還記得第一次要上路前, 我老爸語重心長的提醒我說..................................................
開上路後不要太有禮貌, 否則動也動不了!!!!!

現在, 我每年的里程數約3萬, 回想起老爸的話....

逆向 is really not the first thing that you need to worry about... if that worries you, wait until you started driving here. good luck~
when i first mentioned this to my wife, she keeps on moaning why am i always so negative in this country. and she claims she doesn't really see this kind of driving beheaviour much. so i started pointing it out each and every single one in the next 15min, she got annoyed and told me to shut up (and agreed that she has been driving, in some ways, with her eyes closed...)
在世界的這一邊開車需要的是 local knowledge。其中最重要的是與其他用路人的"默契"。不然蠻容易很危險的。

逆向不只是汽機車, 還有騎腳踏車突然從巷子竄出的阿公阿嬤國中生等..狀況太多了.
不過也沒那麼糟糕啦..台灣的交通有一定的節奏, 習慣那節奏就好了, 總之隨時注意八方, 不要以為你是綠燈直行車或是你有路權就可以放心行駛, 然後小心不要挑釁到別人 (新聞有看吧?)
其實經常上youtube看看台灣發生的交通事故何糾紛,你可以避免很多交通意外.

Matter fact, I think what's important is keeping one's cool on the road. Road rage is a life threatening habit that almost all the drivers including myself have engaged in at least some times in our driving experiences. Messy traffic is already a fact that can't be reversed, but anger management is really what all drivers can learn to make driving a little bit more comfortable. By saying this, I am kind of reminding myself too...Orz
