目前看來看去，這種後撞都是用來評估燃油系統的安全性哩。至於有沒有通過測試，都是以撞擊後燃料外洩重量當成判斷標準。
FMVSS 301 Fuel System Integrity
裡面有提到後撞擊速度為30 mph大約是48kph，跟納廠影片的50kph有點接近，但是到2008年9月1日後就要改成50 mph，也就是大約是80 kph了，不過撞擊台車改成可變形偏置撞擊。
