2010 M35 MPG...

7speed auto RWD : 17 city/25 highway
5speed auto AWD :16 city/22 highway <<< This is COMPLETELY WRONG!!!

Dxmn it!!! Besides better 7speed auto and lower selling price on RWD, if I had known AWD was 5 or 6 MPG worse than RWD instead of 3MPG, I would definitely NOT have bought AWD!!!

OK! OK! I take some of my words back!!!

Today my wife and I drove M35 with the new park plugs. Yes. We did find there was some improvement on that M35 today!!! So, the new spark plugs did improve some performance in that very old M35. Please also be noted besides new spark plugs, I also clean the throttle bodies!!! (Why I also cleaned throttle bodies? That's because to replace the old spark plugs, I also had to remove the throttle bodies which were TWO, not one!!!)

Of course, after everything was done, I also did an IDLE RE-LEARN procedure. So, everything is right on the factory spec now, I think!!!

My wife also thinks it's a little scary when driving M35 now, as it feels like a little TOO FAST, comparing with my F car with Ohlins suspension!!! However, I didn't think M35 was scary. I think it's fun. After I have done many aggressive cornering like 0.8G in my F car even with Ohlins suspension , everything in M35 becomes very easy and stable, of course, only if I don't push that M35 too much!!!(Surely, I will not push that M35 too much, as its tires are much smaller than those in my F car!!!)
Sorry! I almost forgot... The MPG in the meter of my F car is a little off. Actually MPG should be about 0.75 less. So, 27.3-0.75 = 26.55... (Now, become more reasonable but still pretty good!!!)

Today I drove my son's 2024 Accord hybrid...

Guess what... When I drove my F car or even M35, I never thought Model X was quick or never saw any aggressive Model X on highway. (I also wondered why all the Model X or Model 3 drivers were so tame??? Did they try to save their Batteries???)

Believe it or not... Today, I suddenly saw the Model X in front of me was SO FAST??? (However, I never thought my son's Accord Hybrid was very slow??? Was that Model X particularly aggressive???)
I also have one interesting experience...

When I took my F car to Lexus dealer for a free oil change, Lexus would give me a rental ES300h for one day. So, I drove that ES300h for a day. Then when I changed back to my F car... Guess what... When I speeded up in my F car, I found my F car kept flashing its TC light!!! Then, I suddenly realized I probably drove my F car a little too fast!!!
When I drove my son's 2024 Accord Hybrid or that rental ES300h, I never thought they're slow... (Of course, they're slower than my cars but definitely NOT SLOW... I even couldn't tell they're slower!!!)

Even that rental Sentra I drove 3 months ago was not very slow...

Why? I think they're all very new, like only one year old car. So, I think they're all very RESPONSIVE... If I think they're slow, I just give them more throttle... Then, they will not be slow!!!

So, if I really want to tell the differences, I think I really have to push them to THE LIMITS and count the seconds in a stopwatch!!!
Do you know now, what Infiniti really needs is??? Actually the answer is very simple!!! Just a 500hp hybrid power platform!!!

If they produce a 500hp hybrid Q50 or Q70(or even 400hp is good enough) and just like my son's Accord, keep the trunk size unchanged! keep the trunk size unchanged! keep the trunk size unchanged!(This is VERY IMPORTANT!!! So, I said this THREE TIMES!!!), then I think all the Infiniti fans including me will be back and buy their cars again!!!

Go! Go! Nissan!!! (My money is ready... Just wait for you to pull the trigger!!!)

Today I drove M35...

On the highway, I didn't meet any Model X or Model3 in front of me... But, I encountered a quick RCF which was just right in front of me on the passing lane of a highway... I didn't feel my very old M35 couldn't catch up with that RCF!!!

However, I encountered a Model X in the left side of the road in the city... We both stopped by a traffic light and were the first car in each own lane... As usual, the Model X driver was very tame, so I passed it...

Maybe next time when I drive my son's Accord, I should give more throttle in the Accord to see how it goes!!!
