Of course. These engines are almost as good as Toyotas' and they're also among the best in the world...
Some people say they need quicker transmission. In my opinions they are quick enough without twin clutch transmission. Of course if they are paired with twin clutch, they will fly... (The OLD R35 GTR is a very good example)
Two years ago I tried to buy M3 V8 4.0. So I tested a used 2013 M3(about 20K kms) in BMW dealer. When I started the engine from cold, the whole engine was like playing rock'n roll... (That also remind me of my colleague's Passat in Taiwan. Similar engine sound).
Then suddenly I realized that I only can accept Toyota, Nissan or Honda...
You can replace your KYB/Tokico shock absorbers with good European ones to get best suspension(BMW like) for your Nissans.
But for BMWs you need to replace the whole engines to get the best engines from Nissan and replace the whole car to get the best quality from Nissans. Which one easier? Of course buying Nissans...
