If you only use it for, WWW, music, movie, some iPhoto, msn, macbook will be enough.
BUT
if you need it more for Gaming, Edit pics, movies, make DVDs, like you said

then i will go for MacBook Pro,
there is a LOT of CUP speed difference, and between 128mb video and 256mb, there is a Little difference when u edit pics, 玩遊戲,
u will then notice BIG difference,
with the MacBook Video card, only GMA 950 REALLY not enough for gaming, You might find it
hard to run ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS2、ILLUSTRATOR CS2、INDESIGN CS2
需轉檔與3D繪圖,i had a Toshiba with GMA, not much game will run on it, cant watch any HD.
takes me close to 5min to open photo shop.
MacBook Pro is 15inch to 17Inch,
macBook 13inch, if u only use it for 攜帶出門 then, its ok,
BUt if u going to be using it as home pc too, then it wont be very good for your eyes, when its only 13inch,
15inhc is better, battery life is about the same anyway.
but u can always get an external LCD.
Yes it weights more, my is 2.45kg,
its not so bad if u dont have to walk much,
but its all comes down to if u will 攜帶出門, and how u will travel.

If you get a MacBook Pro, then "maybe" you dont need a Mac Pro,
coz the video and the CPU power "should" be enough, and u can save the momey for Apple TV,
you can always connect your macbook Pro to the Tv, and play movies that way,
so u can save the money buy ur self a bigger inch Cinema HD or...moreeeee

感覺... MacBook/MacBook Pro 畢竟硬碟效能不快，處理很多東西都會有點慢...
我那時就是 iMac Intel CD 和 MacBook C2D 在弄。雖然 MacBook C2D CPU 比較快，但是在真正需要等的久的開圖或用 Aperture 或弄些有的沒的的東西時，會發現 iMac Intel CD 快很多。就單純因為 "硬碟" 速度。
況且，我還沒升級 CS3... 因為我實在不確定 CS3 送稿出去印會有沒有什麼問題...
我都盡量不用新軟體...
至於如果真的要選 MacBook/MacBook Pro，選 MacBook 吧～我和我的合夥人就是一個買 MacBook 一個買 MacBook Pro，弄雜誌的東西結果發現其實 MacBook 就很夠用了，加上 MacBook 比較小，所以攜帶是真的比較方便。我都塞在以前學校書包內...

MacBook Pro will "look" better look more pro, macbook more like a high school student use.*that is personally thinking*
Macbook 跑得動 photoshop and other stuff, But might be "slow" tho...
u can have ur 客戶 wait for few min until u open the file or "click" its there.....
but the weight still comes down to a problem, 13inch is very light,
15inhc is bigger, but faster, Much faster!!!
give u an example,
i Trans a 7Gb file from one pc to the macbook pro and loading 8000pic in to iphoto and watching AVI movie at the same time,
no lag, CPU running at 35~40%,
when i was at the apple store, take about 5sec to open iphoto alone, and a little more while to load the pics.

Maybe it will be a good idea that you go to an apple store, and try to run some of the programs u need on both of them, and see the speed, and if u like the scream size, by the way from memory, macbook have glossy display, u might get a LOT of reflection when u use
it out doors!!!
with macbook pro u can choice none glossy display, that is one of my reason i got a pro.....
