Less than a week after announcing the iPad tablet that faced heavy critics because of the lack of Flash support and other disadvantages, chief executive officer of Apple told the company’s employees that Adobe Flash was too buggy, Blu-ray software was a mess, Google wanted to kill iPhone and the future of Internet video was HTML5. The comments seem to be rather offensive, but they may clearly mean that Apple has no plans to support certain technologies.
“They are lazy. They have all this potential to do interesting things but they just refuse to do it. They don’t do anything with the approaches that Apple is taking, like Carbon. Apple does not support Flash because it is so buggy. Whenever a Mac crashes more often than not it is because of Flash. No one will be using Flash. The world is moving to HTML5,” said Steve Jobs, chief executive of Apple, report Wired and Macrumours web-sites, during a meeting with Apple employees.
