i have bought a iBook G4 about two weeks ago, and it is so quiet, the only noise that i can hear is the hard disk
however, today, i got the game "world of warcraft", and after i have played for a while, my iBook started to make some noise, the sound does not sounds like a cooling fan, but if i quit the game for around 1 minute, the sound stop
and i think that noise might be coming from the fan, just, it did not sounds like a fan
so, does anyone know if iBook has a cooling fan?? or what is that noise??
by the way, the noise is pretty loud, that's why i don't think is a cooling fan

iBook當然是有風扇，像魔獸這類的遊戲是很操電腦的，風扇是一定會轉的，而且還蠻大聲的，不過應該沒有太大的問題。 老實說，iBook不是拿來玩這類遊戲的平台，iMac G5或PowerMac G5(尤其是)比較合適。

don't worry, the fan won't turn on except you play game, for the last two weeks, it never turn on, that's why i thought it does not has a cooling fan at first, it is as quiet as a let's note nb

i know which noise come from the cd-rom and which noise come from the fan, and "world of warcraft" does not require a cd to play, thanks anyway

thanks, i was just trying if G4 1.2 and ati 9200 32mb can run "world of warcraft" smoothly, i have another T42 with ati 9600 64mb to play games
