You can also update the firmware with any random USB drive you have. Just use Universal USB Installer and follow these instructions:
Download Universal USB Installer at http://www.pendrivelinux.com/downloads/Universal-USB-Installer/Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.1.9.exe
01. Run the downloaded .exe
02. Step 1: Select “Try Unlisted Linux ISO (New Syslinux)
03. Browse to your SSD .ISO-file
04. Select your USB drive
05. If your USB drive is not formatted (Fat32) check the box
06. Click “Create”
07. Click “Ok”
08. Reboot
09. Start from USB drive
10. Follow instructions
