Apple Digital AV Adapter 討論（3/30更新)

iPad2剛發表，對已經擁有iPad的人來說除了有些想換成iPad2以外，其他的應該是想看看iOS4.3有新增了什麼功能。
從影片中發現了一個新的功能，就是"Video mirroring".Apple也推出了新的配件-Apple Digital AV Adapter
Video Mirroring 介紹

原本在iOS4.2.x以前的版本透過VGA adapter，現在又多了一個選擇，但是有些差異。

可是這個配件在未JB的情況下僅能輸出幾種應用程式的畫面，像是相簿，youtube這種，如果要鏡像輸出到外接螢幕就得要JB後安裝Displayout or TVout2 to Mirror這類軟體。對於不JB的人來說這樣都是有些麻煩的。

而且說真的，我根本就覺得這功能本來就應該給完整阿，怎麼會給個閹割版呢?!

也就是iPad，iPad2, iPod touch 4G, iPhone4都可以使用，而且不同於VGA adapter的是可以一邊使用一邊充電了。

不過看到特別註明的兩點:
1.Mirroring supported only by iPad 2.
2.Video out supports up to 1080p for iPad 2 and up to 720p for iPad, iPhone 4 and iPod touch (4th generation). Movies play at up to 720p.

Mirroring 只有iPad2可以用!?

雖然其他非iPad2裝置使用可以到達720p的解析度，可是我真正想要的是Mirroring的功能阿!!

這樣的意思是說就算iPad+iOS4.3也不能用的意思嗎?

坦白說，在平板越來越普及的這個年代，我覺得外接螢幕輸出是個很基本的功能，然而Apple在iPad1搞了個閹割版，到iPad2才願意把這功能放出來(還賣了新的硬體)，那這叫已經賣出的1500萬iPad1怎麼辦?

我覺得這只是個很基本的東西阿!

希望Apple良心發現，把iPad1的Mirroring也開放起來，讓iPad1+VGA adapter也能有這種功能，不然...

不然的話就只能停在JB後的4.2了XDD

有共同需求的可以討論一下，或者是如果我有會錯官方的意思的也可以更正，謝謝大家~

以下是由mhhe大提供的幾種情況:
Q1. iPad1 (iOS4.3) + Apple VGA adapter -> 無法 Video Mirroring
Q2. iPad1 (iOS4.3) + Apple Digital AV adapter -> 無法 Video Mirroring
Q3. iPad2 (iOS4.3) + Apple VGA adapter -> 可以 Video Mirroring
Q4. iPad2 (iOS4.3) + Apple Digital AV adapter, 確定可以直接輸出 (Video mirroring)

結果看來是在不JB的前提下, 不管是用哪條傳輸線, 只有ipad2能夠擁有Video Mirroring的功能
