Any proof that it is an HTC patent? The first browser I used that had text reflow was Opera Mobile way back before the iPhone and Android even existed. It is still supported by all Opera Mobile versions and even the Browser built into Android natively (at least in 4.1).

this article is from roughly 3 years ago:

and I've seen other publications (just don't remember from where) that said HTC owns said patent. in anycase I'm sure just a little bing search or google search can point you to the right place. I mean, if you have time to type all that reply asking for proof I'm sure you can just go look on one of those search engines and find the answer yourself. it's not hard to find.
I used to use opera mobile too all the time back in the windows mobile good days (my htc athena 7501 was a lovely device), and yes opera had text reflow and no other browser did. I originally thought it was an opera patent but on farther inspection we found out that opera actually licensed it from HTC (HTC was just a regular ODM at the time). anyways, just do a little search in any search engine and I'm sure you'll find your answer.

我用text reflow browser這幾個關鍵字在google patents搜尋出來的第一筆就是了
HTC的專利
看起來是針對mobile device寫的
前面有位大大轉貼的英文中也有提到
opera的自動斷句功能是HTC授權的
